Happy 30th Birthday Shannon

This last Saturday was our first outing without Brady and I must say I did pretty good. I only called home twice and Grammie was very nice to watch the baby while Mom and Dad had some fun with friends.

For Shannon's birthday a big chunk of our gang went to The Great American Food and Music Festival hosted by Bobby Flay. However, there was nothing "great" about it. The overall event was very poorly organized and only after waiting for hours were we able to finally enjoy a small portion of the food available.




However, even though the event sucked there is nothing better than spending a Saturday afternoon with your closest friends enjoying eachothers company along with a few $10 Coors Lights!






While we were watching one of the cooking demonstrations I noticed the woman sitting in front of me was Suzie Fogelson! For those of you that don't know she is one of the judges on The Next Food Network Star! So us girls were super pumped about getting our picture taken with her.
