Walt Disney World 2013

Our family vacation was a huge success!  As you can see below there was no shortage of fun that's for sure!  6 days of theme parks and probably 100 miles walked we all survived!!  Gramma and Papa were troopers as we journeyed from park to park day after day!

The weather in Orlando was ridiculously cold with the majority of our trip being spent freezing our tootsies off while exploring all Disney had to offer.  The great thing about the park hopper pass is that we were able to spend 1/2 day at one park and then check out another in the evening.  We saw tons of parades, fireworks and the people watching was AMAZING!

Needless to say, Brady loved every minute of it and was so excited to meet many of the characters.  He was a bit standoffish and shy in the beginning but in the end he really warmed up to them.  We also contributed a ton of change to any and all fountains as the little dude loves to make wishes!

Anyway, there were over 400 pictures taken and I narrowed it down to a select few that I thought were great.

ENJOY!!

Our second day at the parks just happened to be Jeff's birthday and I scheduled a character breakfast at Disney Hollywood Studios.  Cute little park but not much for smaller kids.

We weren't sure if we were in Florida or Alaska!

Mom's turn with the beanie!

Day 3 was spent at Animal Kingdom!  Such a great park with so many of the animals out and about for us to see.  Brady really loved the safari ride that takes you around to see all the friends!

Animal Kingdom was a pretty small park with not much for Brady to do so after his nap we headed back out to Magic Kingdom to tackle a bit more of that park.  We ended up getting stuck on the Little Mermaid ride for about 20 minutes and low and behold as soon as we got off had a perfect spot to see the fireworks show!  It was awesome to be so close and feel when they exploded in the sky!

Didn't even need a zoom for this pic!

Lovin the fireworks show

Day 4 we spent the morning checking out Epcot.  What a great place to see, however not really kid friendly.  Would love to go back and really spend some time there checking out the different countries.

As part of Universal they had a portion of the park dedicated to Harry Potter!  To put it mildly I was slightly excited and loved every part of it!!

This was a delish concoction that tasted like a creamsicle slurpee topped with a whipped butterscotch froth!

Brady was floored to see Spiderman

Had to get the autograph

It was awesome because he had his Spiderman shirt on that day as well (great planning Mom!)

Spidey teaching him the correct way to shoot webs

Nothing beats meeting your superhero!
