Beach Adventures!

A few weeks ago we took Brady to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and well he loved the Boardwalk and hated the Beach!! What I had anticipated being a fantastic family outing turned into Brady wanting to disown me as his mother for the torture I put him through! Who knew that the Pacific Ocean could be such a downer!

Brady was super excited to finally meet Lila and LooLee (Lisa and Lewie)!! They came out for a visit from Denver, CO and lucky for us were able to spend some good quality time with them!

San Jose was too cold so off to Bakersfield we went!

We had a free weekend come upon us so we took advantage and headed out of town! Brady and I took a mini vacation away to visit the family down in Bakersfield this past weekend. It was a BLAST!

We weren't even in the house 5 minutes and Bugaloo was already in the pool! He loved every minute of it and became quite the stuntman, diving off Mom's shoulders and climbing along the edge of the pool like a monkey!

He also took it upon himself to rename a few people while we were down there . . .Aunt Debbie became Auntie GaGa, Jennifer was Ali for a day and then became just Ferr. Cousin Bryan was Bynam and Cousin April was Apple. Too funny!

Beautiful summer day in the yard so I decided to snap a few shots. . .

He can smack the heck out of the ball and if you notice he holds the bat with the opposite hand on top. We'll correct that eventually but in the meantime the rockets he sends towards me will be just fine!
